Meet Cristina.

I was born and raised in South Texas and now call San Antonio home. Growing up, having a sewing room about the size of a two-car garage felt completely normal.

Surrounded by thread and fabric, I asked my mom to teach me to sew when I was seven. That’s when I made my first quilt. From there I learned cross stitch, another hobby I still love. Making something with my hands has always been a way for me to decompress and ground myself.

After I had my son, I figured, what’s one more hobby? So I taught myself how to crochet, and here we are.

My goal with Sterling Crafted is to make handmade, durable items that people can enjoy and connect with. I also love that handmade crafts can inspire someone else to find a creative outlet of their own and help keep these skills alive.
